so people give me a lot of **** for fixin up an elantra...hyundai actually, but moreso an elantra, and not a tib or somethin...well, before i leave the house, i decide to take my camera to work, so if i see somethin on the road, hopefully i can get a pic of it...well, im glad i took it today...while stopped at the light i saw a car on the crossroad to the left, waiting to turn left...its a sedan, with some like 18 or 19" spinners...not hub cap spinners, actuall spinners...then i shook my head to make sure i was seeing straight, caus i swore it was a sonata...it was...had the spinners, some decals down the side, tinted windows, ricey spoiler, and it may have been lowered...maybe you can tell from the pic...

heres the video so you can see the spinners

and a pic

glad to see theres some other people modding hyundais other than tibs around here...nothing against tibs though

Definately a Sonata, although it doesn't appear to be lowered, but maybe the 18's raise it up. Here's a question, why is he just sitting there with all that traffic passing him? Is he in the left hand turn lane?

yea...lol...there are 2 straight lanes, and 2 left turn lanes..you cant turn unless you get a green arrow...he must have just caught the red to be up front and the spinners still going

also, i just noticed, it looks like his tire is flat...ill look @ the road tomorrow caus i know it tends to dip down where cars drive the most, and the road between me and him could be higher and make it look like that...

i loved how he put the spinners on that though...must be from the "im not rich enough to pimp out a benz or caddy" neighborhood...lol...didnt look too bad...just the spoiler and the decals...just the spinners and tinted windows would have made it look real nice and clean

looks kinda riced out to me. I think he may be doing more harm than good to the hyundai community.

I think that the spinners/big chrome wheels just add to the ricer effect...
spending alot of money doesnt mean you are not a ricer.

Spinners have dropped way down in price. A set of 17 or 18 can be picked up for $400 or so on Ebay, they were over $1000 just 6 or 10 months ago.
