eeeshhh, the good ol' air ram is rare, you might find one used, but i don't think you can get one new now.

I have the same idea with you. Great! Thanks for sharing.
Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.

Ok thanks...but for it doesnt matter if it is MAF or MAP, beacuase i donīt use oem ECU, my car work with MS.

so you don't have to run a map sensor if it's map. The MS still has to have the reading, correct?
so you are saying with the MS, you don't need a map or a maf sensor. umm. not to sure about that one.

Air Ram = Good Idea, Mitsu manifold = bad idea and won't work. I've tried. Let me know if you need an Air Ram as I have one for sale...just haven't posted a thread yet.. ;)

i thought it was proven long ago that the air ram didn't provide enough hp output to be worth the investment even with the mods that coincide with it? This was waaaaaay back when the old site was up, I thought i remembered this because it was one of the first things i wanted to get but the cost per hp was not cost worthy.

It will maybe give you about 5hp on a N/A setup, it does much better under forced induction. Mine is also flowed and port matched to the beta 2 head. I've seen stock Air Rams go for over 500 USD but I'll let mine go for 400 USD shipped in the US.

iīm gonna try with a tubular custom made, probably is more efficient than the air ram and cheaper.

Good Luck with that! I lost count of how many people were going to try and make a custom intake manifold for cheaper...lol

For an effective custom intake manifold, there's a bunch of value that you have to look at. Long or short tube(high end, low torque) the plenum size etc. With more aggressive cams it worth the cost of it.

a while ago i've bounced on a page that explained all that you need to know to build a custom IM ... just look on google and i'm sure you'll find it ...
