I've heard VW beetles with better exhaust sounds than that thing! It may be fast as hell but it sounds like ****! Yeah I know I'm reaching but jeez, does it have to sound like a line trimmer?

I agree with ilan on this one, speed>sound. Too many ppl have the attitude of all sound and nothing to show for it, for example, myself:).

at those db levels and the distance the damn camcorder mic wouldnt be able to properly record it and play back decently, trust me, 2 many nights watchin pro-mods, and super-street mustangs vs. imported imports (sub-9 seconds)

Although a diehard Scubie fan at heart, I have to admit, that's one fast little f*$%.

If you don't plan on driving in the rain however, get an Ariel Atom instead, last I heard, 0-60 in 2.5 and costs around 50K stock, supposedly the fastest accelerating production car in the world....don't quote me on that though.

wow that thing is freakin amazing. An evo or an sti is the car i want when im out of school and have a real job. some want bimmers i want 4 wheel drive with a turbo and a **** load of power.

I think I read an article on that evo. It it nitrous and turbo, some where around 400-500 HP and TQ.

I want an EVO too....

there is a 9 second Evo in the Chicago area. right hand drive, mostly a race car but it is street driven some. i've been drag racing on and off for more than 25 years, and i have never seen anything launch like this car. it doesn't have the sheer violence of a top fuel or funny car, it just LEAPS forward. Sound wise i can handle just about anything but an unmuffled rotary, those are just plain painful.
