Winter and spring meets :)

What is everyone's opinion on meets during the winter months?
This is my first winter with EXD and I have no experience with the regional boards in this regard.

I want to plan a meet in NJ sometime, but is it better to save it for the spring when it's....warmer out?

Well if there is some indoor event that we could go to, but meet outside before & then hang around inside it would be a good idea. I'm not sure what events are around in the winter.. Some car event ? Humm lets see what is interesting in January, that way Christmas will be over & soem of us will be off on a Friday or Saturday night.

Well if you're looking for a quiet forest retreat like the Baltimore meet, then we could find something to do in Sussex County, NJ (where I'm from. not much to do). And a meet like that would be bad for winter time. If you wanted something more city-oriented (clubs, bars, everything close together) then we could find something to do in Morris County, NJ or anything in the northwest region of NJ.

I've only been to AC once....saw a boxing match at Trump and got to walk around the gambling floors....

I don't know what AC has when it comes to clubs/bars/cheap stuff...but I have a couple of sources that I'll be checking into over the next couple of days + searching the internet.

how about those LED's are they done yet?....the fiberglassing is probably going to have to wait...probably after christmas....i'm still deciding if i'm going to get another pair of components if thats teh case then we will make the tweeter holder for two tweeters! and we will have to make a custom bottom panel for the doors...if your willing to help....

keyan....the staging sucks with the stock tweet locations, hence why i'm moving the tweeters up to the mirror plastic peice....i'm lucky and get to turn down the tweets from the crossover so they are not over bearing.....i have diamond audio hex series components in my door...there is nothing stock in my system....you could get the tweets but that would be a PITA!! trust me! and they sound like crap

get a nice set of components...hell a cheap pair of componets will sound better then stock

It seems EVERYONE is working alot (or is busy with school). Between now & New Years I doubt if any of us will have to do anything or plan anything. Thinks should be quieter in Jan & Feb. a nice weekend in Feb would be a good get away. Hopefully the weather will co operate... if not spring will be here in March or April. altho to you "northerners" it might not be till April or May.. Oh get back on subject Bill. Remember back when we all the time in the world with nothing to do ? it is either feast or famine with time off.

An excellent point! I agree, and for a local (sort of) meet AC is a lot easier to drive to than Las Vegas! Personally I would like to see an EXD national meet in LV where we all have to drive there (no fly-ins) :cool:
