I just swapped out the 2004 gas pedal assembly for the 2003 so I can put on the tibby pedal set. Now I have about 1/2" play in the pedal before it pulls the vable enough to give the car gas....this is not a big problem, but is there a way to adjust the trottle cable?
I think my dad adjusted the trottle cable from the engine bay on my 1st car.
Please help.
Thanks!

I am not sure how to adjust it...
Can anyone tell me a brief step-by-step how to adjust the trottle?
Thanks!

Ok this picture was taken as if you are standing on the drivers sidee of the car looking down on the engine.
First you will need to get a 12mm open ended wrench. Now there are two nuts which you need to focus on, the nut closest to the throttle body needs to be backed off a few turns but not all the way off. Now the second nut you will need to just tighten till the two nuts compress the bracket again. If you do this and the throttle is still loose just back off the first nut and repeat the process.

I will try it when I get home later...

I can't find the right size wrench so I need to borrow one.
I will try and do it today (borrow from a friends)
If it doesn't I think the only other option is to put some kind of spacer between the pedal and the throttle cable.
I will post as soon as its done.
