Blah, old people that are paranoid suck. I might be in the possiblity of getting a fine or something now, cause of this guy. I was driving down the highway with 3 of my friends, and the one kid that was with me told me to pull over, he had to relive himself really freakin bad. I told him to hold on, and so he did. Now, I kept telling him to hold on untill I literally saw him bouncing to keep it in. Now, rather then my friend whiz all over my freaking seat I pulled off into this housing place because it was the first thing I could go to. I drop him off by some bushes, go, turn around, and so as not to draw attention to my friend, I park at the entrance of this one driveway of the first house so im not blocking any traffic.

Just my luck, the owner decides to come home right then, to find me waiting in his driveway. The guy walks up to me, asks what im doing, I tell him im waiting for my friend to come back because he had an emergancy. He then flatout demands,
"He's having an emergancy in my driveway? Is he?"
'No, im just waiting for him.'
"Ok then", and as I was saying I was waiting for my friend, my friend comes back from ACROSS THE STREET.

So we go to pull out thinkin the guy understands, and then I go to go, and the guy pulls across the road to block me in. Now, being 16, I had two thoughts running in my head. Throw it in reverse and get the hell outta there, despite not having a clue how the place was laid out, or wait and see what he has to say. Commen sense rules, and I wait there for him. He walks back to my car, says "So you were waiting for a friend because he was having an emergancy?" and I replyed with "Yes sir, we were just waiting..." He then goes to the back of my car, comes back around, points straight in my face and goes "I have your license plate number." At that I just mentally scream 'WTF!?' and then he tells me to "Wait till I pull in." That is a direct quote.
Now, when someone says something like that, as he did, I figured he wanted to talk to me about what was going on. So me thinking he was going to be reasonable, I pull into his driveway, and put the car in park, and roll down the window's and wait. He pulls into his garage, and then comes back out, and this is pretty much the conversation:

"What are you doing here still?"
'Huh? I thought you said to wait till you pulled in...'
"No I didn't, now get out of here."
'Ok, im sorry sir, I just thought you ment you wanted to talk about thi...'
"No, I didnt, now get out of here."
'Alright, once again im really sorry about this sir, we didnt know and my friend was having an emergan...'
"I dont care, now get out of here. NOW"
"Alright sir, bye"

and at that I rolled up my window, slowly backed out, and then drove to the end of the road, and merged into traffic. The guy was watching me the whole time. Its amazing how people can get paranoid over the simplest things, and instead of waiting for an explination, just go off and tweak about it.

Holy cow......hmmmm...sounds like he over reacted, but perhaps he thought you or your friend were scoping out his place to rob it, or the houses surrounding it. Total neighbourhood watch it sounds like. I'd be terrified too, but you kept your cool which is good. Chances are you'll never be in that neighborhood ever again.......ha, shoulda got his plate number too....lol

Go back to his house and kick him in the throat if he wants to charge you.

i say this in all niceness, and as a friend . . think of it as coming from a big brother . . . man what a P#SSY lol . . .number one you shoulda never been in his driveway, stay out in the road, you were only gonna be there for like 20 seconds anyway, second, you shoulda been like "huh? whuh? oh . . ok yeah . uh huh. . ." as you rolled up your window in his face and just moved out of his driveway . . did i mention you shoulda never been in his driveway in the firstplace . . . yeah well . . then you shoulda been like well i got YOUR license plate too! AND i know where you live so THERE! . . and then said BYE BYE MR. MIAGI as you sped away. . . again, like i said. . take this as if i were a big brother and i was giving you a hard time since you are 16. theres NOTHING he coulda done . . when the cops get there 30 minutes later and you are back home playing xbox and not putting any performance mods on your eclipse in need for speed underground cause you're "all show no go" they woulda said well sir, he's not here, he didnt really do any damage, if he comes back let us know. . etc etc. you shoulda done that little roll up the bird like it was a rollup bird roller upper thingy joke lol that woulda been funny . . hehe . . oh yeah . . moral of the story . . stop being a puss. . im not sayin you shoulda thrown a rock in his face just that you shouldnt be intimidated so bad by some guy who when you look at common sense has no case against you other then you being in his driveway which you coulda just gotten out of. . . if ANYthing he wrongfully imprisoned you by blocking you in!. . . by the way STAY OUT OF PEOPLES DRIVEWAYS!!!!

I would have gotten out of my car and see if he can back up the attitude. It would be great to make him swallow some teeth

It's things like this that probably made the old guy paranoid in the first place.

Yes. I know I shouldnt have been in the drive way, but I didnt think my friend would take literally 2 or 3 min to go. We had just gotten done eating all you can eat wings at Quaker Steak and Lube, and we just left. Shoulda went to the bathroom then. But ya, I can understand his paranoia to a degree, but to how attitudy he was getting was a bit unnerving. Anyways it was an older dude, so no bashing in teeth or knee-capping... even though my friend was saying the opposit. But like you guy's said, I wont be back that way for a long while, so its all good.

that's just your jailhouse 'tude coming through ilan ;)

also, i'm not sure if it's trespassing to drive into someone's driveway. it is an open invitation to one's property, and i believe it's only trespassing once the owner asks you to leave.

and don't worry about getting a citation or anything. he'd have to prove it. he'd have to have a photo or video of your friend whizzin and then also getting back into your car to associate you two together. there's no other way he could prove it. well, i guess he could have "eyewitness" testimony of a neighbor who saw it, but c'mon, nothing's gonna happen.

Well, for all you know there could be a group of guys in a car like yours going around robbing houses or terrorizing little kids in that neighborhood or something. Hell, if I came home and saw some group of kids in my driveway I'd tell them to get the **** out too. Or maybe that's just my attitude problem shining through, but still, lol. It's a scary world out there and you never know what people are up to, if you're sitting in a car on or even near my property and I've never seen you before you're damn right I wanna know what you're doing. Especially since I live right near a major city which is/has been targeted for terrorist attacks, just like pretty much everywhere else in this world. So yeah, that's my opinion. lol

I would have had a hard time not messing with the old guy, You know been like "Dude how long does it take to shoot somebody in the head anyway!?" to your friend when he came running back to the car. Or said something like "Well we were gonna TP your neighbors place tonight but since you were so nice to us....." Just the instigating little child inside me itching to get out and raise some hell.

Donuts in his front lawn should do the trick
But you shouldn't of even cared about what he said you know you didn't do anything
Should've just laughed in his face and told him to have a blessed day
