There's been a lot of people wanting the COTM winner back in the top logo of the site so today I've been working on that. Please let me know what you think so far.

Right now I have a biggish EXD logo on the left and an Elantra on the right. I don't know if I want it "stuck" below the navbar or if I want the whole car visible or maybe some other touch of white (or navbar blue).

It's also a bit difficult to get it to stay where I want it when you change the size of the browser window. If people with Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc can post some pictures and screen resolutions that would be helpful.

ehhh...it shows the whole car off to the right of the huge EXD lettering...Looks awkward because of the large amount of space above the EXD logo...and it's all blue...
Would you be able to merge the COTM pic behind the EXD logo? or into it? kinda make the EXD logo transparent?

Vex, can you put together a rough MS paint version of what you are saying. Just something quick so I can get the idea.

Remember that this has to be something that can easily be changed from month to month with little time and effort involved.

I forgot to tell you i'm using IE...
I can't draw anything up right now, because i'm at work and there's no paint/PS programs (gov't comp.) I guess it would be easy to do what i mean...but now that I think about it, it doesn't seem like a good idea anyways...It takes away from the overall appearance of the COTM winner's car. Let me see if I can find a similar pic online somewhere and post it here.

So we think the EXD logo is a bit too big (too long)???

Reduce The EXD logo by like 75% James that is HUGE! Then put the Car behind it at like 90% transparency.

I think the logo is a bit too big. The car over on the right looks kinda lost.

May I suggest connecting it to the logo somehow, as in a small overlap?

I like that first one a bit better than the second (like having the logo "attached" to one of the sides). Good job casale.

slyder...that's what i was trying to say...but i like casale's idea too..hmm...right now i see 3 cars all over the logo, and the logo is still HUGE..lol

James fails at customization. 3 copies of COTM... and I like the 2nd Casale idea.

The idea I put up all three is so that people can see options and tell me what they like.

I think the car next to the "D" is the best option and shouldn't be too much work for me.

The one with the car on the D is good, but it's pushing the notifications tab into the "My profile" tab...top right corner...it's smooshing the letters together.

What version IE? What is the screen resolution? Can't make the window bigger?

Anyone else having a similar issue?

I just made a few changes to it so there's not so much space at the top and also so the shadow of the car doesn't get cut off.

Since I was bored I made the logo change for the gray styles as well (Orange Crush, Green Machine and Midnight Blue). Enjoy.
