I went to the track again tonight..

I ran 16.1 twice and 16.2 twice...
The traction was really bad for some reason.. I got lots of wheel hop with basically no wheel-spin...

60 ft was bad on most of the runs...

Thats a healthy improvement though. I think that stiffer suspension is needed also. Coarse, you know what they say about opinions...

yea...unless its not a daily driver, coilovers are too much...i spent 12 hours putting them on, and took them off 2 days later...i could turn corners like no ones business, but they were too stiff, even on the softest damper setting

i did like the look of the car lowered though. :)

Just think how fast you could have gone without Shawn in the trunk! LOL Wheel hop is a bad thing, means you still have too much deflection in the front suspension. Don't pro FWD drag racers basically use a solid front suspension to cure this problem?

i love the twisties...i would do anything to have a flat car!! the bumbs dont bother me...the Teins are quite comfortable, unlike the quest which are very harsh

if i drop it at like 3000 i spin like a mofo!! how the hell do you drop it at 5000?

I cant drop anywhere higher than 2200..... 87mph is 15.7-15.8 if you get good traction man :)

well, i was hooking last week at 5000 rpms because I had the cam sprocket set for top end.. so the torque was so low that it could launch good..

but this week..(after setting the cam sprocket back to stock settings).. I could barely hook at all.. so i kept launching at 4000 for fear of bogging out...

so it was better by 3 tenths .. :)

weird, cuz if I go over 2500 all I do is spin :)

well, considering that my 0-60 ft was 2.5 & 1/4 mile was 16.1... I should have run a 15.9 with a 2.3 0-60... like last weeks launch... :(

Ohh well... all that mid range torque spoiled the traction :) hehehe

well looking just at your traps...like previous said you do have a high 15 in it....wth dr's i think evil ran 15.5 @ around that same mph so if thats any conselation...

looks like the cam previous settings were holding you back...b/c if thats all you touched..you gained 3+ mph in trap by doing so..which is quite significant...in this case...from a mid 16 to a possible high 15...but imho i would be more worried about trap..b/c better driving will get you a better et..and your trap is basically an indication of your car's ability to put power down.

well, I know that my launch was 2.5 and then 2.4, 2.4 and 2.4 ...

only the first run, with the worst 0-60 was @ 87 mph.. all other runs were at 86 mph with one more 16.1 and two more 16.2 :)

Considering the amount of wheelhop that I got... i was lucky to even do that...
