So as you can see, im kinda geeking out here.

I ordered my first modification to my car yesterday and it is in the mail today.

I went with a CAI(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-1997-ACCORD-4CYL-DX-LX-EX-JDM-BLUE-COLD-AIR-INTAKE-/140532150033?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AAccord&hash=item20b85e6f11)

^^ that in red

The second thing that I have planned is the backlit grille.

I am going to do it in red, I bought a switch for it so I can turn it on and off. Ill keep it off while im cruising and turn it on while I am trying to show off.

Thanks for all the help so far guys!

awesome start! make sure you snap us some pics as you go.
my start was a new headunit 3 days after i rolled it off the lot lol, followed by amps/spkrs/subs/tint/rain guards all the second week. then i lost my momentum and had like 0 mods for a year haha.

dont be me and let it go! keep em coming!!

and yeah if you jsut pur your lights to a switch no one will even know they are there unles you want them to. i actually have a neon underkit that almost no one knows about casue it gets turned on like 5 times a year haha

I will as long as I can.

My dad just spotted my $700 for a spur of the moment trip to Taiwan that I am going on in May . . .So I am giving him $100 a paycheck, then I am also trying to save up for when I move out in 2 months . . .So as for now, I can only do the cheap easy stuff.

But I am doing what I can.

Did anyone else get this adrenaline rush waiting for their first mod to arrive?
Or am I just special?

Looks like you got the one-piece intake... you'll have to do a bit of cutting, plus get a few extra couplers to get it to fit.

Great . . . That makes me unhappy :(

It was supposed to be easy!

I got home, went and looked in the garage . . .and my dad has a hack saw :)

Im 20 and still live with my parents right now while im doing school and work. . . My dad owns so many tools and it is ridiculous because he is a finance guy and I dont thing has ever used hardly any of them lol

a hack saw or dremal will work and the couplers you can get at a pepboys or auto zone.

Thanks for all the help guys! I will definitely take pictures of the hack saw fun :)

It should be in by Wednesday next week and I will probably do all the work on Saturday, so 8 days!

Ill actually try to do both the CAI and the backlit grill in one go.

You guys are amazing btw

You should have gotten a two-piece from k2motor. It is the same price as that one totals out to (about $50), the shipping is free ($25 for shipping is ridiculous), and they are wonderful people to deal with.
