I was watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7IUyjkmr_w&feature=player_embedded and the reviewer says his is a 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS with the Preferred Package and the Nav package (his also had the rearview camera).

I just got back from test driving the 2012 Elantra Limited, and I asked the dealer if the Limited came with cloth seats (to which he said no), and also if the GLS has a Nav package, and he also said no to that :S

I want a GLS, but don't want to pay an additional 3000$ to get the Limited only for the rear camera / nav.

Yes, that's the case.

If you go onto Hyundai's Build Your Own for the Elantra you can select which year you want (2011 or 2012) and the Navigation package isn't available for the 2012 GLSs.

They probably weren't selling enough in that configuration so they made the switch.

If you look around for a while the limited nav and camera systems should turn up on ebay soon. I found this aftermarket unit too http://www.hkhonda.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35&product_id=228

I bet it will get cheaper soon
