outlaw drags yesterday..

I went to outlaw drags and I raced a 2002 ford focus svt 6speed with a custom cat-back exhaust ..

We ran from the hole.. I beat him by 1 1/2 car lenghts in the 1/4 mile..

then we ran from a roll in 2nd gear 30 mph.. and i pulled almost 3 cars on him by 100 mph...

I beat one of those a few months ago.. it was very close... but it was not the supercharged version... I dont know if you knew that they make them with the blower from the factory ! LOL

svts are supercharged, right? and I believe they run very low 15s to high 14s... did he not know how to shift???

i was at the "outlaw drags" last night and raced a acura 3.2 cl...it was bumper to bumper till 3rd when i had to let off it so we didnt run into each other

Nope the SVT is not supercharged they do run a Modifyed Zetec Engine. Also Jackson Racing does make a supercharger for them but they do not come stock with it .

it was not supercharged dude... lol... they are rated at 170 bhp ... :)

yeah the svt's are pretty quick....ford i wish you could race my boy's prelude! and put him in his place....i cant wait for that blower!

so he has a whole lot more hp than you and his car weights just as much as yours and you still beat him? he cant drive!!!!

actually, I beat him on the launch quite easily, and i pulled slightly in every gear until mid - top of 4th where he started to close the gap but I had to let out.. he "may" have caught me on maximum top end.. but who cares about that.. lol
