Short shifter DIY vs. actual short shifter

I did the quick DIY short shift mod by cutting off about 3 inches. Actually made quite a bit of differance.

Anyone do this DIY and then switch to an actual short shifter ? If so, did you feel any differance ? Did you feel a $120 differance ?

i took about 2 inches off mine by getting the tib shifer for 25$. and i still have the stocker

Not really. I just istallled TWM short shifter. But, it didn't really seems shortened.

So.... I cut the TWM AGAIN!!!

And then, it feels better. It worth it.
