Hey Pa people! :tongue: Do I have to take off my clear side markers and put the amber ones back on in order to pass inspection or can I just leave them in? My bf lives in NJ and he had to swap his out in order to pass his inspection, I didn't know if it would be necessary for me to do it or not. Thanks!

Im not sure, but I know its going to be interesting when I take the car with the Undercar kit installed...

No you dont I never had a problem on my 01 but have the yellow handy and if the ***** change them on the spot it only takes 1 minute

nope, altho when i took the car to the dealer, one of the salesman told me he will trade me those for a new pair of the orange/red ones.

Not at all. It's good to have an "I don't care" mechanic for inspections though.

Well, I'm sure you already had the inspection, but I'm pretty sure that you don't have to change them back as long as you have amber colored light bulbs in place.

You can always cover them over with black tape or some such for the inspection. They're not required to be on the car at all to pass in PA; if the mechanic gives you a hard time, have him look it up in the inspection guide for PA. If you look at other cars, you'll see that a lot of them don't even have lights on the sides of the bumper; just as long as your brake and turn signal lights all work.

So, to get back on topic... (and off the body piercing obsession that seems to have taken over the forum recently :pukeface: )

Cuddlebug, did you have any problems getting your car inspected with the clear side markers?

As long as you have Amber Bulbs, you should be fine but bring your Amber lights with you just in case.

I didn't have any problems with my inspection, I left the clear side markers in and I have 20% tint on all my windows (except the windshield of course)
