for anyone wondering, LED conversions on the HVAC rock in real life. The camera always makes it look soooo much brighter than it is. Granted, it IS bright, but not blinding like the camera makes it look. This also reminds me that I have to fix a loose connection on 1 series of my HVAC LEDs. I hate hitting bumbs and having them go out...

This unit was a PITA, I got a bad batch of LEDs and made my life a living hell. I will be getting another 04 unit to work with and this way when someone wants one made I can do so and then exchange it, I tried to do UV but the green is a PITA to shine thru with this color so Blue or Red are the best options

I'll have an extra 04 HVAC controller available once I get my one from Ilan back. Anyone want to buy it? I guess I'll post in Marketplace once I have it ready to go.

Well.... this isn't a very good pic, but here it is...

I did discover a quirk last night though..... when I turn the fan up to "4", one of the circuits goes out, but once I turn it back down to 1 or so, it comes back on. SO....... I guess at some point I'll have to open it up one more time to see what's going on....
Hopefully I'll be able to get better pics of my interior lights at christmas....

I installed the unit this evening and it looks fantastic along with my other blue lights. Thanks for setting me up, Ilan.

Interesting.. What are the compatability issues between the 04 and then the earlier cars?

Actually its a good pic if you're trying to show Phiber the differance between an 03 dash to an 04 dash. Now I wonder if you could still install the HVAC unit from an 04 on an 03? The wiring may be the only difficult part, if that.

Well if you only sold dash's that fit an 04, and someone with an 03 wanted one..but it wouldnt be hard to just do an 03. Anyway, If i buy this kit, what is the installation that i have to do? any wiring or electronics? can you post a DIY whoever buys one? thanks

The only reason I ask is because I love the knobs. What is the sizing difference?

1. Remove Dash Fascia
2. Unscrew Old HVAC Unit
3. Unplug HVAC connectors from old HVAC unit
4. Plug HVAC connectors into new HVAC unit
5. Screw in new HVAC unit
6. Replace Dash Fascia

not on the 04-05
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/clock2.JPG
hmm so its green LED's....
clear plastic?
if so, you could change the color by changing to gradient of color in the plastic.... Green + plastic filter color = clock color.
???

ilan...how long does it usually take you to do the conversion (I want to get it done soon and it doesn't seem that you got any extra HVACS to work on)...I would send you the one out of my car if I can make it a point not to go anywhere for a long period of time!

They are a pain so I started the group buy for the indiglo faces in black.
With school I have no time to do them

thats cool...have to see how they look before I consider 'em cause i might be disappointed with the space left or how they just look when they are installed (as shown in the pics of white ones installed)...I am very picky about stuff and if the black ones are still even a little off or look "added-on", I would be pissed.
Thanks
