Just curious, but I was wondering what colleges you guys went to/are going to. It's just that the few people that I talk to are all small/community college people. Me, I'm a Rutgers man myself. 40,000+ baby. So?
Edit: Oh - I'm an Applied Science & Engineering Major, specialization in Aerospace Engineering.

I went to Cal State Long Beach for a year. That didn't work out, so I went to Cerritos community college. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow much time for me to go back to school, so I'm currently on the 20 year plan if I'm lucky lol. I actually had more fun in a small community college than I did at a large university.

Grad - Currently unmotivated and undecided when I'm going to start in on this.

Crap! I feel like a retard.
Central Florida Community College
AS Degree - Office Systems Tech, Administrative Assistant
I went to a community college b/c I like the smaller class size. With a smaller class size instructors are able to deal w/you on a more personal level. Plus the college was close to where I lived.

I completely agree with you. I was in some classes of over 100 (general classes), but my major courses were very small. One class I had was only 5 people, and the same 5 of us had 3 classes together with less than 10 people in them, that was some of the best learning I ever had... also some of the most challenging corsework too (mineralogy, petrology, microscopy). eww. Just got a shiver thinking about them.

George Mason University - Fairfax, VA. We have 28,000+ students.
I'll have my B.A. in History in about 8 days, ahh, it feels good to be done. Yesterday I finished up my 29 page senior thesis about H.L. Menckens View of the American South during the first half of the 20th century. Fun stuff.
As for getting a Masters, I don't know, I know I could, school isn't too hard, I'm just sick of it.
Oh, this means you guys can Paypal me some money as a graduation gift if you want.

Sheridan College, ON - 2 years, Executive Office Administration
And you know what - that's my job now, straight out of college, for the past 3 years.
It's cheaper than university, and actually, I think the course was only offered in College anyway. The majority of my friends went to University and now have $40,000 debt....so I'm laughin'. Been making the cash for those 3 years, while they still fork it out, and hoping that the diploma they will get will actually mean something towards a job when they are through. Reagrdless of if you have that piece of paper - it can still be difficult to get a job, albeit a better one with that paper in tow.

I go to Neumann College. I started in 99 as a nursing major (it's a really good nursing school), did that for about 2 years then switched to Computer Information Management and took a year and a half off (financial aid office screwed me, long story). So now I should be graduating in the Spring of 06, grad was just pushed back AGAIN b/c of scheduling issues. It's hard to schedule 4-5 classes around a full time job... :(

Wow, I'm glad my new topic could bring so many people together. Don't you just feel the love?
Anyway, just to keep it on topic, I don't think I'll be doing graduate school anytime soon. I need money, and experience. But if I do, I think I'd want to go to Caltech. And it has nothing to do with the fact that it's in Cali. Really.

I am not sure if they call it the same in Canada but they call it co-op here. Basically you find a job in your major and work there for a semester. It will count as a college credit to graduate. The job I currently work at was my college co-op. I think it's a great program, I know that some of my friends have had trouble finding jobs after college. With this program you have counslers helping you. Plus, most of the companies usually post through the college so you have ur pick of companies in your field.

Yep, you were easy enough to find in the directory. But to get back on topic, I also attended Chandler-Gilbert Community College and ASU East, so that makes 4... so far. And if I were to do it all over again, I would have just stuck with 1 major accredited university (ASU Main - in Tempe). It's just too much of a hassle after awhile, transferring credits and what not.
