:( Last night in Columbus Ohio some asshole jumped onstage during the Damageplan show and killed Darrel "Dimebag" Abbott. So much for a Pantera reunion tour dammit. Any other CFH fans in here?

The news this morning sez that some guy, jumped up on the stage and shot Dimebag five or six times at point=blank range. Then continued shooting into the crowd. Total of like five people killed before a responding police officer killed the shooter. Pointless, idiotic stupid ****. Why the hell can't this stuff happen to Ashlee Simpson for Chrissakes?

12/09/04 Reports are coming in from Columbus, Ohio, where an alleged shooting occurred at Alrossa Villa, the nightclub where Damageplan was performing tonight. The earliest reports indicate that Dimebag Darrell and one other band member were among those killed. so 2 band members were killed? damn!!

On liquid metal on XM satellite radio they had a family friend on and dimebag was the only band member shot, there head security guy was shot and killed and there tour manager is in critical condition. That club didnt even search people going in. The cop that shot him was at the show and he had a gun to.

cops here in columbus are supposed to carry their weapon on them at all times...weather theyre @ the grocery store etc...i dont think the officer was off duty...or he may have been on his way home caus the news said somethin about "a uniformed officer"
The cop was on duty, partoling in the area, not in the club, he took a big chance by running in without back up, but who knows how many people he saved by killing this scumbag.
And killer didn't sneak the gun past the door, he jumped the fence on the side of the club, and security was trying to stop him when he jump on stage and started shoting.
