anyone in here get a hook up on video games? my brother wants grand theft auto 3 and burn out 3? i think thats the name of the 2nd one...if anyone gets any good deals, and would be able to get em here by xmas, let me know

but really i got a friend who knows a guy who works for a game company , ill double check if thats the same compay that makes thos games....i doubt it tho

Well GTA3 is only $20 new these days, so I'm thinking you mean GTA: San Andreas which just came out and is $50. Burnout 3 will be $50 everywhere also.

I know CornbreadXD works at a video game store, but I'm sure any discount he could get you would be pretty be offset with shipping charges. Actually, don't you both live in Colombus?

There's not much markup to be made on videogames. And just like Super mentioned, the $5 or $10 at most he would save on the game would be offset by the shipping charges.

My suggestion would be to find the best deal of the week at any of the big chains. I personally like Best Buy, because what you can do is buy one of their old gamer's gift card which contains a $5 off coupon for videogames/accessories more than $19.99. You can put as little as you want on the card, and then go buy your game with the $5 off coupon. If you have a Reward Zone card, then the deal will be even sweeter since you'll make points.
