i plan on painting certain interior pieces like this guy did i already bought a can of black duplicolor and im all set to start but i have some questions

1- has anyone used this before and reccomend it or another product?
2- how long does this stuff last, does it rub off on clothes and stuff?
any help greatly appreciated. :redface:

ive seen ur interior its nice, how is that paint holding up? was it spray or not and you used clearcoat too right?

how does the paint work on fabric like the door panels cuz im painting thos and some dash pieces and im worried about the paint flaking or dusting off the door panels, will it be ok if it gets wet like when it raining and your door gets wet?

I dont know about fabric, on the plastic you do have to be gentle, use 3 coats of duplicolor primer the 3 of the color and at least 4 coats of clear

i was just thinking about supergls this morning on my way to work and him wanting the grey door panels and was gonna tell him to just paint his. . . maybe some plastic paint like that one krylon makes or whatever . . .fusion . .thats it! . . this would be interesting. i would even consider black for my door panels and stuff. . . but would the grey leather seats look bad with black door panels? hmm i wonder

what's the best paint or technique to use in order to paint plastic pieces in your engine bay?

If you were going to paint the whole panels, to do this right, you need to have them sprayed with some flex agent added to the paint, or the paint will end up cracking on the soft parts.
