how hard would it be to put together a wholesale price sheet for commonly requested parts. that would be a nice reference and people wouldn't have to PM you all the time for common price requests. things like filters, accessories, tune-up items, wear items like pads and rotors, etc.....

knox, that's a good start. you can keep going back and editing that post with updated items. i was also thinking about accessories like mud flaps, floor mats, cargo mat, rear spoiler, cargo net, engine block heater... you know, all the stuff you can get from hyundai when you buy a new car.

Is shipping included in those prices? My guess it's not included and depends on your area but just checking. Plus are you willing to ship to Canada, in the future I may decide to finally get a sway bar. Depends on finances at that time.

I gotta say, I thought I got a good deal on the wood dash kit when I got it for $50 off eBay, but this guy's selling it for $35. That's insane. You can't get the sticky 3M stuff that cheap.

Also, do you take the dealer credit card?

KNOXHYUNDAI
12-17-2004, 02:37 PM
Jacksonj: No shipping is not included. We do ship to canada.
leviathant: If you are refering to the hyundai cards that was sent to some people, Yes I know we take those.
By the way we have wings at our ebay store. Hit the link at the bottom

This is most excellent. Now I have to figure out what to buy. Can you get me a price on a leather-wrapped manual shift knob for the Elantra? I believe the part number is 43711-2D200-CA ...if that makes a search easier.

For what it's worth, KDM = Korean Domestic Market

KNOXHYUNDAI
12-17-2004, 03:24 PM
We are actually working on getting parts straight from the korean manufactures. If that is what you guys mean.
ilanpro: 33.00ea. if those #s are right. Mouldings right.
I'll check on that shift knob

80.0 For that knob. normally 103

Leviathant
12-17-2004, 03:39 PM
Good lord! That's still better than $95 from my dealer, but considering it's like, $35 shipped from Korea, I'll have to pass on the knob. On the other hand, I do have some stuff I'll PM you about right now.

That's awesome that you're trying to get Korean parts though. Right now we all tend to hit up dreamka4u.com and kpsec.com for those parts, and even then they don't always have all the little cool stuff -- though dreamka is really picking up the pace in that respect.

All the retail prices you listed are inflated retail prices. Be honest with these guys and give them a 20% discount off of the Hyundai suggested list price.

A retail price of $9.00 for an oil filter and gasket? Come on now, the suggested list price is only $6.51 from Hyundai. What kind of a deal is $5.60?

Same goes for the swaybar. The inflated retail price of 87.47 is almost ten dollars more than the real retail price of $78.61. A much better price would be $62.89 for the rear bar which is 20% off the real retail price.

A 12% discount off the suggested retail price is lame and is easily eaten back up by the shipping charges.

chris, did you try that isuzu/hyundai place? I needed the same part and e-mailed them but they didn't have any. the stock gt grill is around $120 so I don't think knox can sell it for much less. just call a bunch of junkyards around your area and ask, it'll be cheaper, that's what I ended up doing. sorry, back on topic.

Just to let everyone know I was mistaken about the GT spoilers. I have updated my original post, but if you looked over that the spoiler mounts on the area behind the rear windshield.

He is local to me. When I called down there last week, they said he no longer works there. When the dealership changed owners, he left to go work for mercedes I think the guy said...

Niether of the local parts guys that used to help me out are at their respective dealerships anymore. I want some Entourage trim pieces for my Sedona. I guess I might try hyundaipartsonline or call west broad hyundai.
