Wow, a specific post for me. Don't I feel special :)

It was a ***** to paint the dash black. I mean, you have that little dash to get to the gauges and stuff, and then you have THE REST. There are a total of 7(i think) bolts and a couple nuts...behind the vents, the glove box, the steering wheel...Once you got those out you had to disconnect EVERYTHING! Then pull for your %$@#@ING LIFE! There are 3 giagantic clips holding the back of the dash to basically the windshield... once you manuver the dash out of the car (with the help of a friend or more...it's ****in heavy and lopsided because of the airbag) you can start to paint with a VYNIL PAINT. Took me 2 cans, and I don't think I layered it thick enough...the paint was temporary. Constant "use" of the dash (rubbing hands, feet, whatever) on it made the paint come off in little chunks...and I knew I wasn't going to go through that process again to paint my dash again. I would have just masked everything inside the car and sprayed it with it still inside the car. It was a *****.

And super, why did you only yell at him? lol. You've seen my dash, you could have said more :)

It came out amazing...for the first three months...and I nit pick...so I saw every little bit of paint that started to come off...and I could have masked and repainted...but I was lazy.
