jeez that looks like a lot of work. But, probably also cheaper than buying a generic under car kit.

I don't know about the time expenditure, but I've seen some inexpensive undercar LED light setups -- I can't believe that the materials necessary could be that much cheaper.

Plus, you'd have to make sure every one of the joints was sealed against moisture to avoid a short -- especially if they use salt on the roads where you live. A clear acrylic tube-based housing would be much better for that.

I agree, looks like way too much for something so small that u would only see at night anyhow.

haha, very true HatchetMan. Now that i think of it, this DIY is kinda like removing hubcaps to make it look like you have new black rims. Im not criticizing you Ilan, you always find great stuff, JMO on this topic.

For people who dispise wires with a passion (me) that would be insane. Also i've seen a couple LED kits and I personally dont like the look at of them at all. The bulb looks funky and the way it shines on the ground is... well messed up IMO. I have a Streetglow Gold Series taht I got for $127 on ebay that's goin on the car in spring. I still like the fact that I bought the neons and am getting them professionaly installed for cheaper then they retail on the site.

But if someone around Butler area would like to help me save $100 and help me install them... i'd forever be thier friend! :D

Also, sorry for hijacking, lol.

Ilan, how the heck do you find all this stuff? Do you read Korean?

LOL Anyway, it looks like some of these people just have waaaaay too much time on their hands. I'd end up getting tangled in the wires and having to call for help or something... lol But hey, if you can pull it off, all the power to ya. Too much work for me though.
