If your going to do leds like that, ensure you get the drill holes lined up perfectly or it will look like crap. Probably would just be easier to cut and put a lens in there with a bulb. Would look cleaner IMO

I agree with JacksonJ, straight lines of LED are essential.
Boy that's a lot of work, on top of which, shouldn't the LED point to the side or rear? The people in front of you can see the signals by the headlights.

how about integrading the leds into the lens? Like SUVs.

When I first saw this, I thought they were going to mount a reflector behind the drill holes, like this type of thing:

Yea, I thought so too....kinda gives that volvo / mercedes effect, not just the LEDs sticking out
I wonder if a person could make that lens, and then put that blue indiglo stuff in behind it

If you are good with fiberglass, you can make a mold of the stock mirror housing and custom fit a lighting system into it.
Personally I dont see the purpose to having the blinker on the mirror. There's already a bunch of flashy lights on the oustide of my car from the factory. I dont need to add more. At least, more that are functional! lol
