my short shifter and header arrived in the mail today i will be installing it on saturday i will post up some before after pics for anybody who is interested

installs not too bad, their instructions are pretty good even though theyre for the tiburon, but same thing

well i installed the header on saturday dont feel a whole of a lot of difference in first gear but after that it pulls quite a bit better a grand prix GT tried to race me but i downshifted to second and pulled away from him short shifter didnt go so hot while trying to take those two plastic bushing things off the ball ends of the stock shifter one brok so now i have to dig up a couple new ones will keep you guys updated

i got the obx i love it got the cel though i have been watching the cel threads though to see if a cure develops and ford i have been taking pics

well i got the short shifter installed now and i love it the shifts are so much more direct and firm, and the reduced movement is awesome. makes the car ten times more fun to drive. for some reason it is not allowing me to make attachments right now i will try again later

what all do you have done to your car? ive got intake/exhaust/short shifter and w/ just me in my car 1/4 tank of gas, and someone besides the driver in my friends car (2000 grand prix GT) he still beats me, leaving it in "drive"...if he drives it 1-2-3-d he beats me even worse...and he is stock except for some mufflers

i have header,SRI, TWM short shifter it is lowered with a B&G sport suspension kit, try him from a roll once say around 40 you should be able to beat him those motors choke up top the four speed trannies in the grand prix arent geared all that great for up higher but they are damn quick more off of the line

yeah...he gets his *** whipped from a roll...we went from a 35 (i think) roll on the freeway and i had his *** by about a car and 1/2 when he topped out at 108 and i got a whole extra 4mph lol

Is the elantra governed to 114? or is that just how far you took it to?

can someone explain to me why it wont let me post up pics when i click on the manage attachment button it just has the red circle with a line through it and the attachment window wont pop up or is there an alternate way to post up the pics

Race the Grand Prix from 40 or 60 unless he has an atermarket PCM. If he does, don't even think about taking him from a 40 or 60 punch.

you will love it i feel so much more connected to the car... i spent the extra 85 bucks ( some of you may call me stupid for it) on the gun metal weighted shift knob and even connected to the stock shifter it made a huge difference. The shifter makes it feel like a sports car.
