I don't know why nobody has put kSPEC (http://www.kspec.com/) on here yet. Maybe everybody already knows how good they are from the old board. Well, for those who have hesitated ordering from them, don't. They're great. Ask David on their Q&A board any questions you may have, then order with confidence.

I'll add a yea vote! KSPEC gets there stuff here faster than anywhere I've dealt with - ever! When I ordered my Chrome mirrors, I ordered on a Monday, they were on my car on Wednesday (from Korea).

I got my kit from David and although there were some unexpected hidden costs, everything is cool. Considering it was his first time shipping a kit to Canada, neither he nor I knew of what costs were to come out of shipping. So I can't really blame him for that. He helped me through it totally and was there whenever I needed to ask him a question. I talk to him on almost a regular basis and he is currently very busy with KSpec - it's very nice to see it flourishing the way it is. I'll be putting up his cards on my car when it hits the shows. Considering I speak to him semi-regularly and he doesn't frequent this site often, if anyone has a question about something, just let me know, as he has asked me to do this for him before. I'll pass the message along to him so he can answer you guys a little quicker than a PM or thread, which he might not see for weeks <eek>. A HUGE :nosthumbs for them! Very professional, quick and honest.

Kspec, ships fast.
I ordered a strut bar and it was to me in Toronto Canada, in 5 business days.
That is faster than most stuff I order from around the city.
Kspec gets my vote for sure.

I have never bought anything from K-spec yet. I have asked him questions about products and I did rec've timely responses. I do plan to buy a chrome trunk garnish from K-spec next month, thanks for the feed back on his business

I just bought an Avante XD badge from Kspec. It came within a week and a half, and looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
Just got my clear sidemarkers. Was in small concern that the packaging wasnt "enough", but then thats me, and thier both in perfect condition. Parents were slightly paranoid that telephone # was written right on the package, but the address on it anyways nullified thier worries a bunch. The markers were shipped in 6 days time, would DEFF buy from Kspec again! :D :bowdown:

Now I know most of us have had great experience with Kspec in the past and I have too; thats why this troubles me...
I bought a set of the Chrome Headlights from them for like 230 or 250 (something around there). and right away they began to have a lot of condensation in side of them (i checked everything to make sure the seals were tight) obviously these were defective. Immediately I emailed David and he had no answers for me.
I love these lights, I hate the water in them. I am very disappointed in how Kspec refused to take care of their defective product. I even had their stickers on my car, what a shame.
now i am stuck with ghetto water filled chrome headlights. i dont see why they wouldnt just send me a new set and ill put these in the same box and send them right back, then they can handle the warranty thing with hyundai korea or whatever they have to do.

I learned of KPEC here and ordered my fogs, and amazingly got them in about a week from Korea to NY!! I really can't believe it. Properly packaged and arriving in perfect condition. I didn't know the GE bulbs were included and that was a nice surprise. Real Hyundai parts (and it must have been recently made as it had both Hyundia and Kia on it.)
Apparently the regular US Post Office is the last in the delivery and that's who brought them and I had to sign for them.
As you guys know you get TWO fogs for an 02 Elantra, delivered with bulbs for less that the dealer will sell you one fog and I don't think the bulb is with it.
And once I saw the two both holes it became apparent where the two screws holding the filler plate are. Fog has nice adjuster (for aiming) too.

When I first got my car I was interested in putting a turbo kit in it. I asked some questions and got prompt and helpful replies. Just could not sell the wife on the cost. :) Oh well, It probably would have been the death of me anyway.
Kspec does get a thumbs up for being helpful and informative though.

Someone just showed me this thread, and I thought it's sorta funny. I am the US Admin for Kspec.com , and have never seen you post on our forums at www.kspec.com , and also have never recieved an email, PM, or any other contact that you have a problem with an ordered item. Considering I run the return center, that's sorta funny.
If you are having issues with something you ordered, post on our forums (So we have a record of what is going on), put the name it was ordered for, your transaction ID #, and what you ordered. I'll get it handled ASAP.

I posted. Got deleted too. Was replaced with a "Thanks - David" and then locked. WTF??? You couldn't get in what I wanted so I said to forget about it. I then told you about the problem with my past order and that's what happened. Remember me posting that the chrome was peeling off of my interior door handle catches after only 10 months? And this is how you resolve issues? I can no longer recommend these guys. :mad:

Well, I have to change my mind and give Kspec a solid thumbs down. After initially getting a quick response when I inquired about getting a full set of bushings from David, everything went silent. My wife got his account number to send the money and he said he'd let me know when the bushings came in. That was like 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard from him since. I've called several times and he doesn't answer and I've sent emails, also with no response. If he's dead or in jail, I'd understand, but it only takes 30 seconds to get back to someone, especially when they want to give you money.

I'm sorry, I never got a notice that this was posted. Did you post your questions on our forums? THe forums are used for customer service, not our emails. Sorry you didn't have a good experience, things do get screwed up once in awhile.

I got this email back and went a checked there sent out list, and my name isnt on it so they either didnt put my name on the list or this guys got some screws loose, and they didn't ship the items.

Sorry that you are impatient, but we do have our shipping times and estimates on our site faq. When your order is placed it usually ships out the following shipping day. You ordered on the Thursday the 16th, that's the 17th in Korea. We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Korea. Your item should have gone out on the 21st. I should get a new sent out list to post in the next 3 days.
Unfortunately, that's as far as we control stuff. If it gets caught up in customs, it can take up to 2 months to get your item. If everything goes good, you get your stuff in 3 to 4 days. I usually get my items in 4 days from ship date.
Also, as stated on Kspec.com , we do our Customer Service on our forums at http://kspec.rdtiburon.com (we are hosted by Javageek). Sending a email to the sales asking them for an update won't get you the accurate info. Please, in the future, use our forums. I personally handle the Customer Service and return center for the US. The person that is now answering our Sales emails was most likely mistaken. In the future, if you need expedited shipping, let us know and it can be arranged for additional fees. UPS and Fedex are expensive from overseas.
Please let me know when you recieve your items, and please, post on our forums.

Woah, no need to get hostile about it, I was just stating our policy. This is the reason we handle our Customer Service via the forums. It makes sure our issues get handled, as I personally check up on them a few times a day.
HE is the one who told me to EMAIL everything. i have also posted on forums. david ssaid he would handle the issues and usually does, but hasnt.
He used to be able to keep up with it all on his own, but again, that's why we've gone to the forums. I handle what I can and forward what's left to him. it works pretty well. Considering the amount of emails the admin and sales account get a day, they miss some.

If so, that is the only post that has been made there under that username. Again, what is the problem? I'd like to do my part and help but the one post that has been made on our forums from that name is asking about Navigation, and it was answered. No posts about your headlights. What's wrong with the headlights?

I ordered clear sidemarkers and they came within 2 weeks, no problems. I also got the YaYa polyurethane suspension kit with no problems. On top of all of that, I ordered the engine mount bushings and received an e-mail stating they are currently out of stock and will ship as soon as they are in stock. I would order from Kspec again.

Good experience with them. Package took about 7-9 days to arrive but I was fine with that. Will do business with them again some time!
Got my clear corner lamps today.I had them shipped to where I work,and they came in on sat after I left work. I ordered them on oct 18th, so it took like 10 days. I will deff buy from them again.

I know I just got a Beta 2.5 valve cover combo on Thursday that was sent to me on Tuesday, I bought it last week.

I ordered a set of Tuscani window switches on 5/29/06 and they came in 6/3/06 but the mailman wouldnt leave them.I got to pick them up today.
You can hardly get stuff that quick if it was mailed within the U.S.

Actually, in a very wierd stroke of coincidence, Kspec.com swapped to a new server at the same time as RDTiburon.com and the associated forums.
The DNS is repopulating around the world with the correct IP. Some folks can get on, some can't. I can't.

i ordered Ventvisors off of kspec, and bumper molding from Dreamka4u at the same time, the ventvisors showed up in 6 days from the day ordered, the bumper molding took 15 days. KSPEC ROCKS!

Usually it'll take a day or so for the DNS to repopulate throughout the world. However you can get someone who already see's the new location to go through the command console and type 'ping kspec.com' and that'll list the sites specific DNS. Which you can then get to by going http://<ip address> and the site will load normally

You know, one time when we moved RDTiburon.com , some folks couldn't get on for 2 weeks.
Make sure you clear your cache and cookies, it helps some folks.
I still can't get on. From Firefox or IE.
I've emailed Taekmin at Kspec and he's getting my emails. You can also still get to our subforum by going through http://kspec.rdtiburon.com
I emailed him and let him know that several users from different sites, including myself, still can't get on.
I'll post if I can find out more guys. Sorry.

Do me a favor. I've emailed the Korean office several times now and let them know that it's been over 2 weeks and I still can't get on the main site, only the forums directly. Please email Taekmin (Korean office) at sales@kspec.com and admin@kspec.com and let him know that you also cannot get on. He's said he's contacting their new ISP about it, but this is getting old, quick. Let him know this is affecting others. You can still access the forums by going to kspec.rdtiburon.com

Well, as I told you via PM, sometimes items get stuck in shipping. I usually getmy items within 4 to 6 business days after they ship. I've had ONE shipment take 33 days from shipping, thanks to customs.
Keep me informed on our forums my man, I'll make sure it's fixed.

Dear customers,
I will summarize what I have told to our US Admin, Jeremy (Zimmerman).
If you guys remember, there was a counter on the right part of the web page.
Our hosting server suggested us to remove that counter.
They claimed that it takes some time off when the web page FIRST opens.
Right now it is gone and I am yet to hear feedback from Jeremy.
You cannot ping our site because hosting service blocked pinging access.
So "Request timed out" is not a problem.
The worst could happen now is that we change our hosting service.
They told us that they will fully refund us.
But I have told them that that is not the point.
We need a working web site for everyone in the world, not just full refund.
So please stay tuned and you are welcome to e-mail us feedbacks whether our site is working or not.
I hope to fix this as soon as possible.

Wow that sucks to hear about your ****ty webhost shutting you guys down. If you need some recommendations I highly recommend Ace-host.net (http://www.ace-host.net) I've been using them for 5 years and they're great. I have massive bandwidth [40 gigs a month] and massive storage for a really cheap price, plus in those 5 years I've had maybe a few hours of outage total.

i guess i should update with the good news my mounts arrived on July 5th and were installed about 1 hour after i got them, vibrates like a son of a b$tch when it idles but it's nothing that i didn't know before hand. other than the crappy shipping, it was really nice to deal with kspec and i would buy from them again.

Ok I made a second order from Kspec, this time I got the Tuscani engine mount kit and the Tuscani timing belt replacement kit. VERY fast shipping, as always good customer service...will order again.

Well, anyway, thanks again to KSpec for getting me the Rear Strut Bar and H4 Steering Wheel hub in 5 business days. Great company, great products, and will most certainly be buying from again. And probably in the not too distant future (read: I need my damn debit card!)
