I was thinking of painting just the bottom of my dash up to the line above the radio maybe an aluminum color to match a premier deck and tv

Well, since there are already dividing 'lines' above the point you're talking about, you can probably get away with it. However, if you're going for a match, it should be darn close to exact, otherwise it'll look goofier (<--technical term) than if you left it alone. Photoshop would be good for this.

Like Mike said, I think on the XD2's that painting it up to the dividing line would work well. On any XD it would look eww though. Good luck.

I bought my 02 EGT in 01 and painted the interior and it lasted pretty well, make sure you get a good clear coat when you do it. I think painting it allowed me to have my own personalized interior, and have it look better than any kits available. However I will be getting it redone by a body shop when I get my bodykit installed but it is more to match the colors from interior to exterior. Good Luck.

I do remember reading something about that once now that you mention it.... I've only been around since September...

Too bad that wouldn't work for me..... My glove box won't open with the passenger door closed due to a poor tweeter placement decision I made....
