I had a suggestion to add in a little picture by the month of each COTM winner, so I went ahead got that up tonight. This helps the site be more about the members which I think is one of the best parts of the site: YOU. Let me know what you think, I love hearing suggestions (good or bad, haha).

Also, I'd like to remind everyone of the rules of COTM.

1. Only Elantra XD/XD2 is eligible to be a Car of the Month since this website is focused on that particular model.
2. Provide at least 5 high quality pictures (shots of exterior, interior and engine are required). Starting January 2005 we'll be requesting that only high quality photos be submitted for COTM candidates. Also, we'll only want pics that are sized at 800x600. Also, we'll only except clean pictures, meaning not ones uploaded to car domain (or other such sites) with their logo on it.
3. Include a list of mods.
4. The winner will be chosen by ElantraXD.com community. The voting will start on 20th day of the month and no more nominations for that month will be accepted. The polls will be closed on 28th day of the month.
5. You cannot nominate your car for one year after you win a COTM award.
6. A nominee must be a regular poster with at least one post in the last month.
7. The winner of COTM will have their car appear in the EXD header for that particular month as a reward.

---------

Please pay special attention to Rule #2. I think it'll be a lot better and nicer looking if people submit quality pictures. So, please do so from February on. If not, we won't allow your car to be voted for (kinda mean, I know). We feel that anyone serious enough to run for COTM should be able to find someone with a decent digital camera and take high quality pics (again, a 2.0 megapixel camera should be fine). Also, having uniform 800x600 pics would be great as it would make it easier for not only viewing at the nominees thread but also for me putting the COTM section together. Thanks everyone.

Comments? Suggestions? Questions? Concerns? Let me know.
