Well, here are some current pics of my latest project. As you can probably tell by my Avatar, I am not to fond of AM/FM radio nor do I care to keep cd's in my car so...I have decided to do a Stock Radio Delete/XM only setup.:D
Radio Delete made of 1/8 ABS

Yes, I do have access to the fog light button and defroster too! No Traction Control

The SkyFi will connect directly to this eq which will be installed right above the SkyFi2

From the EQ, the connection will be made under the passenger seat to this:

The speaker wires from the amp will run back up to the factory harness where they will then power all four factory speakers until I get the cash for my Infinity Kappa's.
In case you were wondering why I went through all this trouble, well, the Amp I had laying around and it was doing nothing. In order to hook it up in my car, I would need a new head unit which I can't seem to justify or a line level converter which, in my opinion, sound like ****. So, I picked up the EQ for $29 and the ABS sheet for only $2.00 off of eBay and I am having a blast.

Install took longer then expected due to the fact that the amp didn't fit very well under the seat and it ripped the head off of an RCA cable.
This coming after everything else was buttoned up.
So, after a trip to the store to get a new one and a removal of everything again to run the new cable and relocate amp to the trunk, I was done and it sounds AWESOME!!
10x better than the FM Modulator and with the added power from the amp, the speakers sound better too. Can't wait to blow them so I can order my Kappa's. :diablo:
