How can you get the aftermarket pedal covers to stay on the frickin pedals? I have a set and the clutch and gas pedals will not stay put. What can I do?
screws? dunno, being a typical Australian I seldom wear shoes, so I kinda like the rubber pedals lol.

My aftermarket pedals had clip type things that were screwed into the pedals. You had to tighten those down then bend them over the stock pedals so they grip on.

yea some come with clips but if u got the oem ones you gotta mess around for like 10 secs and they'll get on.

The ones that I have I had a problem with too.. the screws that hold the clips in wouldnt allow me to bend the clips around the original pedal, so all i did was tighten them up really good, and cut the excess part of the screw off the back, and then the clips held on perfectly... Its been almost a year and there is no movement in them whatsoever, so cutting the screws shorter seems to have solved the problem.

So the screws fit past the oem pedals? Then the clips fold down?

on the brake pedal the screws fit past the oem pedals.. on the gas, they didnt clear the edge of the pedal so when you snip em down a bit, it ends up fitting flush over the pedal

Do I have to take the rubber off the pedals before I put the new ones on?

You do if the new ones are the OEM Tib ones. At least, you have to take off the rubber dead pedal and rubber brake pedal, the gas pedal doesn't come off if I remember correctly.
