Hey,

I have an idea. and when i have an idea things usually get all torn apart and not put back together for weeks ;) SO my questions to anyone who has taken out the back seat:

1:
Does the seat come off in two pieces? Bottom and top?

2:
Is the cushion seperate from the seat frame.

3:
How are the "Three" seats held together (i.e., is it one whole frame or are there different parts.

thanks in advance

shawn ;)

in my GT, the bottom comes off in two pieces, and the back comes off in two pieces also... really easy to take out and put back in...

Right Sed, the bottom is one piece and the top is two (but attached by a bracket, so that they can come off as one piece). And then there is the two "wing" back pieces. Good stuff. I hope the DIY helped.

if you have any other questions I was just tinkering back there tonight. That DIY covers pretty much all the bases though

I agree, some outstanding member must have made it, haha.

One more thing Sed, what exactly are you trying to do? Or is it a secret?

Speaking of tinkering, backseats & DIY's.... I did another teardown of the rear seat, cut off the U shaped brackets that hold the seatbacks and will be finishing the GT seats into GLS soon... I'll take some pics and do a little DIY on it.

nothing i do is secret!!! You know I always share with my exd people :)

anyway, what i was thinking is scratching the middle rear seat and forming an enclosure for an xbox, and using the space where the rear cupholders are for the loading tray.. Now the reason i was concerned is because i wanted to know if i could just get rid of the "middle" seat and work around it, but thats attached to the right seat. I'll figure it out.
