Thoughts on these?

I have the 04 tidal wave w/ black/grey interior. This vendor has the same thing in black and grey. I like the black/blue, but if the blue clashes I am hosed - no returns for this guy.
Anybody order from him?

Sorry, I've never liked seat covers..
Also, most of the time, the fit isn't good, especially on our cars (I have to use one for winter, leather is cold :D, I had to go through about 20 diff kinds until one actually fit)

I had yellow and black seat covers scheme in my Protege5 - different vendor - the fit was pretty good.

Maybe, but in my GT, it seemed like the lateral parts stick out too much, so normal 'bucket' seat covers wouldn't go in.

Which ones finally fit? Where did you get them?

Actually, I bought one from Canadian Tire (ummm, something like your pepboys?) for about 12$CDN, makes 7$ US approx. Yes, it's cheap and ugly, but it fits and it just makes sure my butt doesn't freeze during winter :D

I hate seat covers, but whatever keeps your *** from freezing. Too bad heated seats wasnt an option for us canadians.

Wouldn't seat covers prevent the side airbags from deploying properly in a crash?
Just asking.

damnit...i was just about to say something about seat covers and airbags....i wouldnt use them becuase the side airbag is in the seat...it would go off, but it would have to tear thru the seat cover, which might not happen, and if it does, it may slow down the airbag from deploying as fast as it should...
maybe if you could somehow make a slit down the side for the airbag to come out quickly if needed...better safe than sorry

yev - Thanks for pointing out that thread. I saw it before, but did not see pics the first time. I now see there are pics on the 2nd page of the thread. I like the "Iggee". I like the one piece setup for front, but it looks like a 2 piece would fit better. I think HAVRO got the Iggee for "low back" - so I think that a "low back" would be the best fit.
As far as the air bags. It seems to me that the government would ban sales of these, or post a warning lable if they would interfere with the air bag deployment.
I'm going to look at local pepboys to see what they may have. Easier to return if not a good fit.

I bought high backs from seatcoverconnections or something like that. They seem like they will work well (not installed yet). You can make any seat cover fit well if you invest the time to do it right and not hurry. Also, a small tip for the grooves.....heavy duty staples (strategically placed, not all over) and finger pressure to bend the ends can make a good fit look like they were custom made. No creases, sagging, or sliding ;)

the airbag issue was talked about earlier too. i believe when the GB was being put together the guy who was making/selling them said he can use single light stitch on the airbag side or use velcro maybe.

Here are some "Edge" seat covers I'm trying out. I'll probably keep them unless the Mrs just hates them. $50 at PepBoys.

Below is try #2 - this is more of a velour. I liked #1 - but the material was too slick for me - too much sliding around the seat.
