Looks like someone has some snow exercise in their future. Snow sucks unless you get to play in it like snowboarding, sleding etc...
I spent 8 hours winterizing my car and no snow. Normally we get Northwest weather 14 days later, but this year just rain. So send some this way so I can justify my 8 hours and sickly stock looking car please.

I was caught in a blizzard earlier. It was lake effect snow and caused visiblity to be like 200 Feet. I had my wife and kids so I didn't do anything stupid, everyone else was being very good on the road too. No accidents, but I seen a lot of domestics pulled off on the side, I guess they couldn't handle this much snow.

They were calling for us to get anywhere from 3-6" to 10-11"...... instead we were lucky enough to get freezing rain and sleet!!! Fortunately, it warmed up to almost 40 degrees and melted the worst of it..... we finally did get some snow in the late afternoon and early evening, but maybe an inch at the most....

01-22-2005, 09:33 PM
yea we got about 4 inches and we were supposd to get 8 - 10

i've got two driveways...so it took me 30 minutes to clear both with the snowthrower.... fun fun fun... honestly.... i did that around 7pm and just looked outside.... 2-3 more inches since then where I had cleared the stuff...and I finally got my mini-sportbike working again... gonna try to have some fun... dunno if i'll actually be able to drive it...snow is about up to the door trim on my mom's accent which is located in the same area as the strip on the XD... so take a guess how high it is...24 inches here we come.... lol

6" of snow here and counting...could end up anywhere between 12 and 24" before it's over.
would have taken a pic of the car but my wife already brushed it off...
Snow sucks... at least when it isnt delaying school. Im thinking about hopping on the quad and having some fun in the yard tomorrow! haha

Ha, I was about to say "What are you waiting for Ilan, get out there and shovel it," but it looks like you've taken care of it. I was sad, we only got about 5-6" here, I could have used some more... it's sucky too, because it isn't even "packable" for snowballs.

once this storm is over (still 12 more hours of snowfall predicted) i will take a pic of the car. it's amazing, you can't even make out what color the car is, just about every inch of it is covered-- including the sides.

Here we got 7-8" ... and at my apt complex.. they are schedule to plow on MONDAY!!! I almost got stuck twice last night... everyone is parking on the street which the city does the plowing.. I would but last time... they towed cars!!! and its about 200 yards away... I found a spot and did the back and foward deal to make a semi-path so I dont get stuck trying to get out :)

Yeah we got around 12" at my house and around 16" here at work(yes I am at work right now)...but I took the wives Tracker 4x4, I am actually surprised how well it does in the snow...but I think much more than we have now and it could get stuck too...it would just run out of ground clearance.
It was fun doin RWD doughnuts in the parking lot at work yesterday when the snow started:D

Go take a snow bath in your yard, it changes your whole outlook on snow and the cold, thats how us infanteers stay clean in the winter on exercise. Perhaps try a polar bear swim, I do every year on new years day its good for your heart. Winter does suck ***, but hey no mosquitos or bees!

So I'm at a friends house in Delaware and we were shoveling... nothing exciting just a bunch of snow... and then I hit my rear bumper with the shovel. The BLACK METAL SHOVEL that I was using. Made a nice huge mark. I'm really upset. ****ing snow.
That sucks. Espically for SPB. Nice are those rims or hubcaps there ilan? haha

We were on the front edge of the storm in Chicagoland, so it wasn't as bad as you guys to the East got hit. I'm on the Southwest side, we were lucky... only about 5-6." I spent 14 hours in a snow plow on Friday and Saturday... the rest of saturday was devoted to sleeping. Which, then of course, made Sunday the day I had to squeeze the entire weekend 'to do' list into one day... only got to see one quarter of football (Philly - ATL game). I'm still exhausted... my back and shoulders are beat up from driving around in that snow plow, manipulating the leavers, and trying not to run into idiots on the road.
On a side note, is it bad that I'd laugh out loud evertime I'd pass a parked car on the street (illegal after 2" of snowfall) and would here the psssshht of salt pinging off their car? Litereally, made me giggle everytime. I also enjoyed putting snow back in peoples driveways when they snowblow it into the street. Hit that at about 30 mph and throw it back to their porch... hehe. Oh, and I got to spend that time with a turbocharger... but it was a diesel and needed one to move, lol.
Stupid snow. Ruined my weekend.

Seems pretty kewl
I always knew the snow plow guys like putting the snow back in our driveways!
