Help on Remove Interior Door lights

Before I start chipping away with a screw driver, does anyone know if there is a way to remove the red courtesy interior door lights? Does the door panel have to come out? Or do those red lenses just pop out?

they just pop out

you will probably need a flat head scsreew driver to help thats how i did mine

I'd take the door panel off to avoid breaking the lens or scratching up the door panel. I mean, it only takes 15 minutes to take off and put back on the front door panels. There is a DIY in the DIY section (among other great DIYs).

took me less tahn 5 minutes to take out the lense and i didnt scratch the panel

I poped it out - probably best to wedge it from the bottom. No problems or stratches.
