This not to offend anyone but what is rice and why does this it differ in opinion? Websters Dictionary second college edition defines it as:

Rice (ri~s) n. Oriental origin, akin to pushtu 1. an aquatic cereal grass grownwidely in warm climates, esp. in the Orient 2. the starchy seeds or grains of this grass used as food.

as far as slang goes I have always be told that Rice (or rice burner) is an imported far east (or the Orient) automobile (where they grow a lot of rice). not where some one does somthing to there car that other people hate.

After stating yes its true I own rice. I don't care what people call it because its a better built automobile compared to these present day so called domestics.

Is this a joke?

Anyway, the slang term rice can be used in any manner of ways meaning slightly different things. When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter, because it only matters what you think about your car. People are too quick to call something rice these days, I wouldn't even really be offended by the term. It's just like calling something or someone stupid, does that really hurt anyones feelings? I hope not.

I guess you can call it that. It kind of sad seeing people go off topic like on that lambo door post awihle back over somthing so stupid in denfention of a word slang or otherwise. And I never heard of the people refering to it for stuff the people do to there cars that they don't care for. I guess I'm sheltered and Haven't seen or talked to any tuners recently. (I guess I'm just alittle culture shocked form switch over from the good old detroit v8s).

Well, in any case, if anyone says anything to you, you just show them the pure american muscle that you own and they'll shut up. :D
