Wow... I have an interview today at around 7 pm and I'm really nervous.
I mean, I've been to multiple job interviews, but this one is different. I've worked at Famous Players for the past year and a half, and now I've been offered an Operations Supervisor position... again...
Last time, I got rejected. This time, I WANT it. Any tips on how/what I should talk and answer the questions?
The said interview will be in a conference room with the GM, and a few managers. It frightens me :P

This is my moto on interviews I'll be my self and if they don't like it I don't need that job any way. Its nice to get a job that you want but you should lower yourself to get in the corparate world. let your experences speak for you. being a leader is about being different and still making good decsions for the people under your wing and the company you work for. Some times you'll get what you wished for and not like it. So don't be too worried If you get it great but if you don't there are more jobs out there that maybe more suited for you. Good Luck ethier way.
Ps I got sick of that upper mainagement game crap and Im currently working at a small Meat locker. lot easiler on the mind and alot less money ,but I'd rather enjoy life.

Yep, I'm going towards that, but slowly: still in studies for another 5+ years, so this is the job supporting everything for now. Promotion=more pay.
Besides, I LOVE working there, people are great and schedule very flexible, which suits me going to school... I need that job :(

Be yourself, be positive. Never say I don't know. Say something to the effect of I can get that answer for you or I can get back with you on that matter.
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks! Thing is: I know they're gonna ask me ''what do you think an Ops Sup does?'' and instead of saying ''duh... dunno'', i'll say something like: ''well, I guess I'll find out soon *smirk*''
:D
If i`m not too late to comment: be confident. they want a confident supervisor. But dont be a swaggering wise arse.

Ops Sup? Well it sounds to me like the person who is in charge of floor manning and their productivity. Basically you will have the same job you have now, but you are one wrung higher in the chain of command. If a floorworker needs something from a person "up top" (office level) than they should come to you and ask, as you have shown that you are responsible and able to do your job. Im sure things will go fine, and good luck to you.

Boom. It's a very calm, relaxed job... After these years of suffrance, I would like some 'vacation' :P. I'll know what happened on wednesday or so.... (nervous!)

I find that showing eagerness to learn your job to the best of your abilities will go a long way. I'm sure it depends on the job you're applying for but I think if you try to demonstrate too much confidence you'll just shoot yourself in the foot.
