my vacation/snow driving thread

ok...where to start...

warning : this will be long

friday morning...wake up to my phone ringing about 8:30am..best friend calling me to tell me i have to come pick her up to go to the auto show, because she cant drive into town...i told her to come in the night before caus of the snow, but shes stubborn...so its 8:45, i leave to get her, usually a 25 min drive...takes me about 45 min, go out pick her up, come home...get back about 1045ish...get packed get ready to go

11:30 leave columbus
roads arent too bad...snow of course, so everyone is being careful...get almost to toledo (2.5 hours away) in about 3 hours...i wanted to leave EARLY incase traffic was bad...seeing how we were ahead of schedule, stopped at Cableas (hunting/camp/fishing store)...took some pics...leave about 5:00ish...get to our hotel in detroit and checked in about 6pm, leave to go to canada (winsor)

get into canada about 630...didnt have a problem getting in...got grilled on some questions, nothing big, no searches or anything...
hit the main strip...see some bars, park the car....go into some sports bar, had a beer, and a jeager-bomb...stayed for a little bit...leave...

(2 drinks)

walk down to a place called "peppers"...seemed to be sorta like a hooters, but the girls dressed classy-skimpy...lol...had a few drinks there...had...long island ice tea (under the impression it was 7 shots of different liquors and a shot of coke)...well, it was weak..had a jaeger and banana shot..not too bad...then got a beer, and a sex on the beach (tryin new things...first time drinking legally)...friend had about 5 drinks

(6-7 drinks)

now about 10pm...decide to leave, and find a strip club...guy at peppers tells us to go down 2 blocks to cheetahs...go there...CLOSED...water main break...so we asked someone on the street...points us to "million dollar club"

go in, check in coats, pay admission..guy asks where do we wanna sit...told him it doesnt matter (only about 15 people in at this point)...guy sits us at the dead center of the front of the stage....SWEET....start drinking bud light...guy and his fiance and a friend sit down from us, start talking to them, about being from ohio etc etc etc...guy buys me and friend body shots...SWEET...lol...come to find out this guy likes he girl i went w/ and was tryin to get w/ her...bought them beers...

watch some dances...well A LOT of dances, drink more bud light...watch more dances...friend meets a couple guys (not guy buying her drinks and such) and goes to some club w/ them for 1.75 drinks...comes back an hour later...guy buying drinks buys her and me buys us lap dances...at this point, ive had about 12 drinks total, and pretty drunk...lap dance was awesome...friend is getting her dance, and the guy is like, feelin up her leg, and i see her take his hand off and put it back on his lap...happens a couple times, then we decide to leave

go get coats, and he comes, and asks if he can ride back across the borded w/ us...i knew she didnt want him to come, so she tells him we got all our luggage, and there is no room and to call my cell phone number...im like...oh...YAY!!...well, she goes..."call evans cell..the number is 614-374" (at this point im like ...you have got to be kidding me) then she goes "7441" which is just changing one other...so im relieved...tell him bye, and he says we can move the luggage, and she says no again...lol...so hes like "well, you totally ****ed me, caus i dont know where my ride is"...she tells him theyre @ the end of the bar...and we BOOK IT out of there...lol...

(bout 12 drinks at this point)

get to the car, leave, and have to go to the main street...well theres canadian cops EVERY OTHER STREET and it happened to be, there was one on the street i have to come out of...so i pass him slowly...stop at the sign, and watch the traffic...this guy stops, to my right, so i slowly start to come out to make a left turn...then some guy comes around the guy who stops, and we almost hit each other...so im blocking traffic going from left to right, so i can cut off a whole bunch of right-to-left cars, or back up infront of the cop...back up, get out of the way, and the 3-4 cars pass, and i start to pull out into traffic...see the cop turn on his spot light and head light, and i keep going into traffic, and i look back once im on the road, he turned off the lights, and we drove off...

get grilled comin back...told him i was from columbus, he sees the license says gahanna, then i gotta explain its a suburb...then my friend goes to hand me hers, and it drops inbetween the seat and the center...so she has to get out and were diggin under the seat...finally get it...have to give him my birth certificate...asks us if we drove up to go to canada for 6 hours...tell him were in detroit, came over to go hang out at peppers...lol...get through

get back to hotel, and the 2 guys who she went to the club w. for an hour come over, drink some jeager, and about 4am, friend goes downstairs to go to the restroom caus ours was broke...turns out she told the guys friend and his fiance where we were staying, so creepy guy was down at the front desk...wouldnt leave her alone...walks her to the elevator, and kept cornering her...and she kept sayin to go away, and after a few times, he said "no"

so she comes back up to the room all creeped out, and im drunk as ****, so i passed out...woke up @ 10 to go to the auto show

auto show was awesome...got about 350 pics...gonna try to set up my own ftp account to a server so i dont have to upload 300+ pics to a website

so...america - ok, not too bad

canada - im ready to move there till im 21...it was SO MUCH FUN to drink legally, go to the strip clubs, and drink more...all legally...this was my first time to canada, so it felt wierd drinking in a club, actually getting into a strip club etc etc...but the strip clubs were friggin awesome...everyone we talked to inside said it was the best strip club in winsor...i agree completely... :D :D :D :D :D :D :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:


then meet up w/ 2loud2k2xd...always great to see another modded XD, and to meet a hell of a cool person at the same time

dave- next time, well have to get together a little sooner than when youre gettin there and im leavin, and get some drinkin done...lol...****ty luck w/ the car gettin stuck though...hope you got to check out the auto show and see the good stuff...that tricked out Kia wasnt too bad @ all (orange one)

well...bud light was only caus the only place that had molson ice (which was good) was the first bar...no where else had anything "ice", which is what i like...i HATE budweiser w/ a passion, so it was bud light..

probably wasnt smart to drive, but, (and im sure im gonna get a bunch of **** for this) anyone i have talked to says that i am the only person they have seen get wasted, and not drive like theyre drunk...went drinkin with a guy from work at another guys house, he wasnt drinkin, i had to get home...he followed me, called me when he got home like "were you really drinking before i came over? caus you drove like you were sober"

and i know i could get pulled over for somethin else and get arrested and all the other stuff...so yeah

I would give you **** for it, but a year ago when they threw my going-away party at the Irish bar next to the bike shop where I used to work, I did the exact same thing. They took my keys, but I had one magneted to the undercarriage so I pulled it off and drove from southeast DC back to suburban Maryland. Did just fine. Will never ever do that again.

and the fact that i stopped wearing that damn retainer i got after braces after i broke 7 of em (7 total...like 4 tops, 3 bottoms...140$ a pop = not cheap) and my teeth have shifted again, and i cant smile for ****, i dont really take too many pics...semi-crooked teeth + goofy smile = gheyness

now that i have insurance now, i can get my teeth fixed..lol

Well, in my opinion, not that it matters, I don't care how you drive when you are drunk. The fact of the matter is that you were drunk when you drove, which is one of the stupidest most ignorant things you can do. Maybe it's because I was almost killed twice by drunk drivers. Or maybe it's because I lost a good friend because of a drunk driver. Who knows. But that's just my opinion, not looking to change your ways or anything I'm just putting it out there.

As far as fun goin out legally, yes it is... but it get's old fast. Once it's 'legal' it loses a lot of the fun. Enjoy waiting till you're 21, that'll probably be more fun than the years after 21, at least that's what almost everyone i know says.

yeah, im sure once its legal for a while, itll not be as fun, but for now, im 19, and thats the first time i got to go out to a bar/strip club and drink, and i thought it was pretty fun, knowing that i wont be able to do it again unless i wanna drive 4 hours...hmm....im off tonight...could be in winsor by 10...hmmmm

jk...but it crossed my mind...maybe next month...that trip set back my turbo parts finishing by a little bit

Just what I was thinking... friend that's a girl + long road trip + alcohol = waiting more and more for your turbo. The first time I went to Canada I ended up in a strip club too, interesting, ha.

Oh, yeah... drunk driving is stupid... really stupid. (I figure I should say it too, just in case you missed the 10 other people telling you, haha).

can't drink in Louisville but you can go to the strip clubs down there... some of them, that is. We'll have to go there sometime and I'll smuggle drinks for you :)
