Hello
I have 2001 Elantra GL 1.6

I want to connect a/f gauge...
But where the wires of the 02 sensor under the dash?
some 1 can tell me the exact location?

Thanks!

right next to the foot rest, far left bottom corner of the drivers seating area. There is a little rounded piece of plastic there, take it off and take a look up. There is a metal box with about 90 wires going into it.

that box is the ECM, and you will never find the wires w/out a diagram.

notice that the two 02 sensors are connected to the ECM at pins 42 and 43. they are both green wires.

here is how you determine where pins 42 and 43 are on the connector:

im sure the diagram says to connect to wire 43 but his ECU is different from mine, I did have the 3 rows and a tab that locks it all into place. This diagram is no good fore you Vad1K. This diagram is for North American vehicles only. As for connect your A/F guage, it will not hurt anything the guage simply takes a voltage reading from that wire. Sorry we couldnt help yet, give it time something will turn up. Good luck!

get the wire directly from 02 sensor. Turn the engine on, with volt meter, - to ground, + to one of 4 and find out what wire reads around 0.1~0.7 (keep changing)
Splice that wire (don't cut) and hook the o2 sensor wire. I hooked up at #43, and I am 2.0 Beta II
