People...
Any Canadian companies we could deal with, instead of buying in the US and paying those huge shipping fees, on top of all the trouble we could go through at the border?

We did have a member who was selling some KDM parts, but I haven't seen him on here for a while. I don't think he's selling anymore because he was selling off all his stock before summer ended

Yeah, CarbonMan use to do it, but I think he has stopped, once he moved he pretty much has been busy.

Carbonman has been a little busy right now, but I don't think he's totally given up. Just wait, he'll be back with more stuff. He sells the majority of Carbon Fiber parts though....what exactly are you looking for?

question to canadian people: do you pay any extra $$ for when the items cross the border?

I think there is Brokerage (sp?) fees, it may also be called Customs fees, but they may be two different things. I have ordered from Amazon before, but really haven't had things shipped.

Brokerage Fee, Custom Fee, Fee to get it off the boat, Fee to put it on the train, Fee to release the box and hold it till you pick it up, Fee to pick it up......what I went through was ridiculous with hidden charges.

Oh man! My subs are supposed to be here since like a day or two... They're at a warehouse not too far from my house, but they can't ship until they get the authorization from customs....
THIS SUCKS!

I have had problems with UPS shipping from the US. Customs duties AND brokerage fees!
If the package is not too large, try to have it shipped USPS and it comes straight to your door and no duty if less than CAN$60 (as a gift). There is no yearly limit on how many "gifts" you can receive.
