Well have fun. You should have said something earlier, I could have planned on coming up there this weekend and hung out. My parents live in Jax and it is only a little over 2 hour drive from me. O well, maybe next time.

Hey you, :kick: Take that! :P
I'm very excited, I just got back from class and I just have a few more things to throw in my bags. I talked to my aunt earlier too (she works for the Eagles which is how I got the tickets and whatnot) and she said that there is a welcoming party on Thurs night with all the players and staff that we are going to and there is a Post-game Party Sunday night with all the players that we are also going to. I'm totally excited. I'm gonna be partying it up with TO and McNabb. lol

Well I'm back! I got there around 12-ish, and went to the condo we stayed at, it was about an hour away from the players' hotel but it was oceanfront and away from all the madness. It was called Fernandina Beach or Amelia Island depending on who you talk to. Anyway that night I went to the welcoming party, about half the players were there and all the family and friends, it was pretty cool.
Friday we got up and went to the player's hotel, did some shopping and talked with a few people (correll buckhalter (I screwed that up) and Ike Reese, Westbrook.... they were all cool guys) then we went back to the island for dinner and drinks.
Saturday we stayed on the island, did a lot of shopping but the town was adorable. It was awesome, for every Pats fan you saw 15 Eagles fans. I don't know where they all were but Philly was representin everywhere you went, it was great. Saturday night we went to the Ritz and had drinks, that was about it.
SUNDAY. So we pack up and go to the hotel we were staying in for Sunday night (right across the street from the player's hotel), we picked up our passes and took a bus to the family brunch. All the player's family's and eagles staff were there, and they gave us free crap. Back in the bus and on to the tailgate party. I got pretty messed up (had about 4 rum & cokes in about an hour) but was pretty straight by the time we started movin in. Got to the seats, watched the game. You all know how it went. It was ok though, we had an awesome time and we did better than most people expected us to do, so I'm happy.
Sunday Night - Eagles post-game party. I was exhausted, couldn't talk, or walk, but whatever. Bus takes us to the party and it was absolutely gorgeous. The Roots were the live band (so awesome, I never saw them live before). They had about 4 rooms, all with a different theme. Once I get all the pics developed (prolly tomorrow) I'll put them online for whoever wants to see them. I can't even describe it, it was beautiful, and they gave a ton of free stuff. All the players were there with an exception of a few. It was so sad because most of them were apologizing to people, but eventually once the band started and people piled in it got a lot more positive in there.
One of the greatest experiences ever. I would not have traded this trip for anything. And to end the longest post ever, SEE YOU IN DETROIT IN 2006!
