I have a job interview tomorrow morning. It's with the same company I work for, but it's for a Network Engineer. I really hope I get it because it means I can work from home and save a lot of money on gas and maintenence on my car. After 3 years of driving it I have racked up 148,000 Kms. Way to much driving to work.

Wow! That's a lot of km's. Working from home would be great!
Good luck on the job interview.

Nice! Didn't know you were planning on a change, but it's with the same place so that's cool. And the fact you can work from home is an added bonus!

I was always looking for a change. Actually the fact that it's with the same company is good, because when my son was born in Sept. I had to take my vacation from 2005, so that means that if I left, I would owe them 3 weeks without pay.

I don't think that I could work from home, there is too many better things to do at home than work. I don't think I'd be very motivated to do anything. One time I had an online class at college and I didn't do anything... Good luck though.

Well, there are many benefits for working at home for me. One is to help my wife with the kids for the 2 hours that I normally drive. The 2nd is I'll get a good lunch, and maybe even a quickie ;) I've worked from home before, and I can always go in to the office every once and a while.

I would love to find a work at home job. It's just very hard. I could actually do the majority of the work where I currently am now, if I just had access to the server since almost all of my work is on the computer. It's hard to find a "work at home" job that isn't a scam.

Well, I just finished, I did blow one question, and there was some technical things I didn't know, I did tell them that a lot of what I learned was in College and I don't think it'll be hard to learn again...
The manager upfront had already told me that there is a lot of learning to be had, and that commands would have to be learned....
Overall, I think I did quite well, showing them that I'm a canadate since it's an entry level posistion. But I did look at the guys calender to see who I was up againsts and I can see 2 out of 3 posistions already taken.

Well, don't forget to write a thank you letter and follow up with him in about a week to check.

Well, I just found out that the other Interviewee's had gotten an email regarding what specific topics were to be covered on the interview, I was going by what was listed in the job description and now I feel I was at a great disadvantage. Ticks me off that the guy wouldn't send me a copy of that email so I could better prepare my answers.
