Winter Mode?

Just wondering what your cars look like during the $hitty part of the year. Here's mine yesterday morning, with frost all over it.

Oh, and if you live somewhere were 'cold' is around 50 degrees you don't get to post your pic. Bastards... (j/k lol).

My wd with the factory michellins is terrible. But once you get it going it is ok.
Looking at a set of Falken 512's. I had no problem with the on my other car.

We had some freezing rain down here in Georgia. I was going to go out to Wal-Mart to pick up some provisions, so I let the car idle outside for about 30 minutes or so. The ice was good and thick on the windshield. After 30 minutes and revving the engine some, the temp was only about 1/4 way up.

Anyways so I start chipping at the ice on the windshield ever so lightly with my flat head screw driver. The wife comes out to help. So I'm pulling off chunks of ice and my wife is tapping the ice. She's on one side, I'm on the other and look up.

She's got the screw driver between the ice and the windshield trying to pry the ice up. WTF?!! I yell at her "NO NO NO, not like that." Well...needless to say there are now some nice new scratches in the paint around parts of my windshield.

It's not like the paint is great on the car, but the less scratches the better IMO.

Besides that it was raining all day yesterday and it looks like it will be the same way today. U should see my white car! I just washed it Sunday and now it looks brown, there is dirt all over the bottom.

cobalt blue always looks cleaner than it is
and we had some slush/snow this morning so it cleaned up a bit.... the hatch is always dirtiest part of car.... lol

Alright, here's the Pictures I promised. They were taking Friday night right before I washed it.

On a good point, I found out that night that my Apt. has a hose in the tenant parking for washing the car, and since it's two lvls underground, it's pretty warm too.

I'm in Ottawa Canada and we're having what's called a chinook. It's suppposed to be 7 C which is about 44 F
I'll post one as soon as I figure out how to post a pic :eek:
