Maybe have a forum or at least a sticky that says that you should get your oil changed at X amount of miles and you should check your belts at this many miles. Same with checking other components.

I only say this because all i know is oil change every 3k...I go to jiffy lube and pay 25 bux. I can get it done for 12 if i wanted but i get they change my oil and check my fluids and stuff.....Thats the only way i know when to get things done :-/ ....I think i missed my 30k mile service so i'm not sure what i should check or keep a watch on...

read the owner's manual...it has a nice table that tells you what needs to be done and when it needs to be done. if you don't have that i'm almost 100% sure there's a schedule on www.hyundaiusa.com
