no internet

i dont know if this should be a flame or in here...

for the last 3-4 days i have had 0 internet connection...i cant get on EXD, check my email, talk to anyone on AIM...nothing

i guess i didnt realize how much i rely on the internet in a day-to-day basis...of course the point when i get the $ to buy the ECU to get over the main final lump in my turbo project, i cant get online to order it

i need to get on MSN messenger to talk w/ Rick at REAL, and i cant d/l anything on my dads computer (one im on now), so its gonna be a couple days before i get that ordered...i hate not bein able to get on EXD at least once a day, caus it seems to be about 2-300 new posts a day, and being offline for 3 days = close to 1k posts

now someone im sure is gonna ask "how are you online now?"

well, my dad, with all his computer savy-ness (just made that word up) has a cellular internet card or something...somehow, he is can get internet on his computer...im suprised hes letting me use it, seeing how this is the first time ive ever touched it lol

so hopefully, i will have internet back on on my computer sometime soon, and i can continue post-whoring :diablo: :diablo:

What service do you use? I use SBC and my connection is on the fritz. My DSL modem is constantly going red then flashing green then solid green. I only got on here for minutes at a time. I have my DSL connection status page open and I constantly refresh to make sure when I hit a button the connection is live. (sorry for all caps here) THIS IS A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate dealing with this stuff. I could never be an IT person because of the load of crap involved with this stuff.

I had no Internet yesterday in my living room, that's because the wireless router I connect to wasn't working, and since it's not mine, I couldn't reset it. So I went in the bedroom for my internet and got onto someone elses wireless. ;)

1 AM here and I just recieved my first consistent DSL signal in the last 4 days. WOOOO!!!!!

ive walked in and seen him watching it and he didnt do anything...i dont consider that "hiding"

this is mainly his work computer, and thats why no one uses it...also the fact that everyone in the house has their own computer, 99% of the time, there is no need to use someone elses
