get a hotter gun or Iron. your should be able to draw the solder in without touching it with the gun or iron.

be carefull not to lift any pads I would get a colder soldering iron being that you are working with electronics and elctronics and heat dont mix

get a cheap soldering iron, i think mine was $7, then get a smaller/thiner Tip and rosin core solder..... its really not that hard, after soldering like 2 Led's together alls u gotta do is repeat the process, just bend the legs and add some solder.

...wait... what do you mean by bend the legs/add some solder?

Could you give me a mini-guide please? because i discovered earlier today that i really suck at it and should stop right now before ruining by car's window switches :(

lol, comon you cant be that bad..... ok for bending the legs i mean the HVAC conversion, when you putting the leds in a series just bend the legs (metal + and - stands) so that they are touching each other (make sure of correct polarity) without any solder added, then when you position them right then go ahead and solder them

Windows switches are easy, cut the metal legs off the old LED, but leave like 1/4inch so u can solder ur new led on top of it, Be sure to look at the polarity before cutting, write it down if u have to

one of my techno geek friends had a solder sucker that was extremely handy if you mucked something up. I'd definetely get one of those if I was soldering stuff together.

(even more handy when you're just learning)
