Kumho ASX

I just bought some new tires. My Kumho 712's have worn out after 15K miles, so I got Kumho ASX tires this time around since they have better treadwear. They're 215/45/17 with AA traction rating and 420 treadwear. I can already tell that the sidewall isn't as strong as the 712's were, but it may not be too bad once I inflate them to 38 or 40 psi. Ride quality is very good and road noise is much improved, however.

I'll let you know how they do after driving on them for awhile.

They were about $115 each from Discount Tire.... they would've been cheaper from TireRack but sometimes I don't think it's worth the extra hassle.

tell me how you feel after driving for a while, cause i'm planning on getting those with 16" wheels later this summer.

Well I think they're probably decent tires, but I miss the driving-on-rails type of feel I got with the Z-rated 712's. These ASX tires feel a little mushy when you make quick turns.

I just got the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 there not bad.I got all four for $247
