The other day I noticed a light that had a pic of a car with a key in it (looks like a security light) I was wondering if any one else noticed this, and if I could hook it up to my alarm? if someone could find the wiring schematics for the gauge cluster that would be very helpful thanks guys

not on the 03, never seen it.
on a side note, i just noticed the small car icon that lights up when you open a door under the temp gauges :)

i would be totally interested if there was an unused icon in the gauge cluster for that. can you capture a pic of it?

It is the immobilizer warning indication light.
It means the immobilizer is on.

ah, so that only applies to some markets. we here in north america don't get the immobilizer... :( still, if the icon is still there on all market elantras, it would be nice to tap into it to make it a blinking LED for the alarm, or something along those lines!

If you look right above the F you can see it

If you have your owners manual, it shows it in there too, what it looks like, where it is etc.

I lost mine :( I think the hold light above it is for the hands free kit
