So, I updated the forum today, and as you can tell, a couple things aren't working. The arcade isn't working and either is the Latest Forum Topics on the homepage.

I'll get everything back working as soon as possible.

...and v3arcade is down nowadays :(

Well, although the vB3 Arcade is down, I might have a way around that.

I'm going to fix everything the best I can, and add a lot of new things as well. Don't worry, EXD only moves foward.

I've noticed that when I read a thread, it doesn't change it to show that it's been read right away like it used to... happens in Firefox and IE, even after a reboot..... on all 3 of my computers.....

I've noticed other forums work like this, but it was something I liked about the way this forum worked...

edit. HOLY CRAP this is annoying... i don't know which threads have new posts in them since I read them a few minutes ago..... help!!!

could this be a cookie issue?

You know, rckozma said the same thing to me.

But it's always been like that for me, it's never done it automatically. So I have no idea what the problem like me (who the hell put me in charge again? hahaha).

Anyone else?

My home page pulls up but none of the "Announcements" show (basically the column down the middle is missing).

Just do a screen refresh and it will update the page, I have to do this on occasion. Or you can just hit F5 which is refresh.

I noticed a few days ago, but haven't checked since then, but if you replied to a thread twice, and no one replied after you're first, it was showing up as two different posts, where it was showing up as 1 before the updates.

I'm going to test this our right now.

lets see what this does, Ok it is back to normal now. Just ignore my babbling.

that works for me sometimes.... but not often....

edit.

OK, I went back and tried a couple things... and i found that if I hit refresh after reading each thread, then it will change the status... once all of the threads in a section are changed, you can then hit refresh on the main forum page to update that one. It's not really a fix, because it will increase the bandwith the site uses, but it will help me get by until they get things fixed....

jackonj... you're not crazy. I just happened to fix that one, although it's not fixed totally yet.

I'm going to work some more on the site tonight, hopefully I can figure some stuff out.

Just got some stuff working after messing it up.

THANKS TO LEVIATHANT AGAIN.

Ok, now on to the arcade.

hmmm... the new posts not clearing off still isn't working....

oh, and the chat room was still going while you were working on the site.... I was in there most of the time, but got bored after a while and left....

I just fixed the homepage stuff while I was working tonight.

And, I just added a custom "module" to the front page that is called "Favorite Links," you can use the Edit Profile menu in your User CP and add your favorite links there, just a little add-on that I think will be welcome. Let me know your thoughts.

I actually have no idea about the pages being cleared, sorry, but I'll look into it.

I have an idea...... I think maybe maybe it worked before because the pages reloaded automatically, even if you just hit "back" on your browser, instead of just loading the old page from the cache....

probably a cookie issue too.....

Hmm, like I said, I'll look into it.

I have some other ideas in my mind right for the homepage right now too.

Remember, I always take suggestions, let me know your (by your I mean anyone) thoughts.

How's the response to the Links module on the homepage?

In addition, I've added a COTM Module there as well, just like the good old days.

I haven't touched the arcade in months but I thought I would try tonight but NADA just a bunch of errors.

Yeah... I know. There is a thread is the Site Suggestions forum that addresses this.

It's all good, I'll get it fixed when I do... I didn't know so many people loved it this much.
