I removed mine with a heat gun. A hair dryer would work too. heat it up, peal up one of the edges, and continue heating and pulling. After it is all off you might still have some "gluey" residue left, remove it with some type of cleaner/degreaser thats not too strong, put some wax/polish on it and it comes out just as good as the rest of the paint on your car.
