I thought my battery was finally wearing out in my remote :( , I opened it (there is a DIY somewhere) but basicly you use a small jewelers screwdriver on the 2 notches on the top) to get the battery (number CR2032) and I notice a film or dirt or some stuff on the battery. I cleaned it off & put it back(you don't want to touch the battery because you leave a film on it. Well it is almost a good as new, I have the range back that it once had. :) how long will this last, i'm not sure, but it was worth it.
