Using OEM alarm to open trunk

Is there a way to use the OEM alarm to open the trunk. I mught buy an Elantra and I was wondering if it was possible to hook it up. (or if this was already incorporated to the system).

you mean the keypad thing that you use to unlock the doors? no, but you could possibly get a new one that is used for that purpose. of course you would have to wire the trunk for it too, which would be more of a PITA, and money consuming that benifitial.
