I recently started my custom grille project. I bought an 04 grille off ebay and bought some gutter mesh guard at lowes. Been pretty funny. I was using my dremel to cut the thingys and it smells pretty bad hehe. I'll post some pictures in a couple minutes if anyone wants to see my progress ;)

Sorry for the mess but it's just like my life, heh one big mess
I just started the grille project the other day, just gutted most of it. Need to kill off the edges , and need to buy some paint and fiberglass and such.
In the first pic on the left side is for my electrical projects heh it's pretty cool :)
I think ill paint the grille to match my car then paint the mesh black
oh, it's not that bad on cost so far, spent 50 bucks for grille and mesh

Looks good! Are you leaving the top louver in place? That's how I did mine. But I spent the $30 on some actual grill mesh. It's a little thicker than the gutter guard and the diamond shapes look more uniform. Ask Clarion and Seraph, they've both seen my grill.
I know what you mean about the smell lol. I used a dremel as well, and the smell was nasty.
Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Axel
